Mumbai: The Mumbai Crime Branch, which is investigating the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui, has found out for the first time that the shooters were in direct contact with Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi. Officials are convinced that the Bishnoi gang is behind the murder of Baba Siddiqui, although the reason for the murder is not known.

Preliminary investigation suggests that Siddiqui may have been murdered because of his close association with actor Salman Khan. Digital evidence has revealed that Anmol Bishnoi was in touch with one of the shooters and one of the conspirators, Praveen Lonkar. There are indications that Anmol was in touch with the accused from Canada and the US.
Four mobile phones were seized from the accused
According to sources, investigators have found several Snapchat accounts used to communicate with the accused. Some of these accounts are linked to Anmol Bishnoi. An officer said, we are checking the details of these accounts, but we are sure that one of them is linked to Bishnoi. Four mobile phones have been seized from the accused.
10 accused arrested so far
The forensic report has also been received. The Snapchat chat has provided clear evidence of Lawrence Bishnoi's direct involvement, as the name of his brother Anmol Bishnoi has surfaced in the investigation.
The Crime Branch has so far arrested 10 accused in the case, including two shooters and an arms supplier.
The third shooter, Shivkumar Gautam, is absconding. Officials have said that the shooters had also practiced shooting at Palasadhri village in Karjat area.
There is a connection with Salman Khan
Anmol Bishnoi is the younger brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He has been involved in many criminal activities including activities related to his brother's gang. He is one of the main accused in the Salman Khan firing case. The recording shows him giving instructions to the shooters.
Anmol Videsh is believed to manage his brother's gang mainly in Canada, the US and Portugal. Despite all efforts, he has not been arrested.
