Ravana wanted to kidnap Mother Sita . He took the help of his uncle Marich during his exile and Marich took the form of a golden deer. When that deer appeared to Mother Sita, she asked Ram ji to bring the deer to her. After this Ram ji went to catch the deer. The deer was running away, so Ram ji understood that the deer was a demon. In such a situation Ram ji shot an arrow at Marich.

Marich assumed his real form after being hit by an arrow. During this time Marich asked for help from Lord Shri Ram. This voice was heard by Mother Sita, so Laxman ji thought of going to the forest to help Ram ji. Before going to the forest, he drew a line around Mother Sita's hut.
