The mother of the junior woman doctor has written a letter to President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bengal Governor Dr CV Anand Bose and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee complaining that she did not want the immediate cremation of her daughter's body to investigate the incident, but had to do so due to the "over-activity" of the police.
