The Centre for Democracy, Pluralism and Human Rights (CDPHR) has presented a horrifying report on the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. CDPHR President Dr Prerna Malhotra and Professor Kapil Kumar presented this report titled 'Minorities Under Siege In Bangladesh' to the public. This report says that minority Hindus are being brutally tortured under the protection of the government in Bangladesh. Whatever is happening to Hindus in Bangladesh will affect the entire world. The report also says that it is the responsibility of the big countries of the world to put pressure on the interim government of Bangladesh so that the atrocities against Hindus can be stopped.

Something very wrong is happening with Hindus'

Speaking on the report, Dr Prerna Malhotra said, 'This is our third report on Bangladesh. Bangladesh is burning. Very wrong is happening to Hindus. The most surprising thing is that the world is silent about this. Minorities are being suppressed and violence is being committed against them. According to our data, 190 cases of vandalism were registered within 4 days of the removal of Sheikh Hasina. Apart from this, 16 temples were destroyed. Till August 20, more than 2 thousand cases of violence were registered against Hindus while 69 Hindu temples were demolished. Till now this violence is continuing.'

'Yunus government did not save Hindus'

Speaking on the attacks on Hindus by Jihadis in Bangladesh, Malhotra said, 'When Mohammad Yunus' interim government was formed on August 8, we thought that these cases would calm down but it did not happen. The government's job is to protect the people, but nothing was done to protect the minorities. Incidents like Pakistan and Afghanistan happened in Bangladesh too.' He said that Jihadis are not even sparing women and children and 477 cases of violence have been registered against them, genocide is happening openly. Malhotra said that slogans have been raised against Hindus, anyone who is different from the thinking of Islam has been treated wrongly.
