A very ancient temple of Jeen Mata is situated on Sikar-Jaipur road in Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. The village is named Jeen Mata village after the name of this temple. This temple remains the main center of faith for the devotees. This temple is situated between three small hills in the forest. The scenery around it is also very captivating.

According to beliefs, Jeen Mata was born in a royal family of Ghanghu village in Churu, Rajasthan, who is considered to be the incarnation of Adishakti. One day she had a fight with her elder brother Harsh and she went to the forest and started doing penance. Today, the temple of Mata is established at this place.
How is it related to the Mughals
Once the army of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb started vandalizing the temples of Shekhawati. Then the people of the surrounding area got worried and appealed to Maa Jeen Mata. Through her miracle, Mata released a huge army of bees on Aurangzeb's entire army, due to which Aurangzeb's army had to run away from there. After this incident, Jeen Mata also came to be known as the goddess of bees and her recognition increased a lot. Impressed by the miracle of Mata, an eternal flame was started in the temple, the oil for which was sent from the court of Delhi. Even today, the same flame is burning continuously in this temple.

There is a belief about this temple that leprosy patients get cured just by visiting it. Golden umbrellas are also offered by the devotees in the temple. The eight-armed idol of Jeen Bhagwati is installed in this temple. There is a pavilion located under the mountain, which is called a cave. A fair is organized here during Chaitra and Sharadiya Navratri, in which a huge crowd of devotees gathers. Along with this, people who come to the Falguni and monthly fairs of Khatu Shyam Ji also come to visit Jeen Mata.
