News Topical, Digital Desk : The knowledge of rights and duties imparted by Lord Krishna to Arjuna on the battlefield is one of the most profound wisdom. These teachings are contained in the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. Today, we are going to share some verses from the Gita, whose meaning, if applied to your life, can yield positive results.
1. "Karmanyevadhikaraste ma phaleshu kadachan.
Ma karmaphalheturbhurma te sangostvakarmani."
In this verse of the Gita, Lord Krishna tells Arjuna that he has control only over his actions, never over their fruits. Meaning, a person can only control his actions, not the results of those actions. Therefore, one should simply continue performing his duties without worrying about the results.
2. Trividham Naksyedam Dvaram Nashanmatmanah.
Kamah krodhasthatha lobhastasmamadettrayam tyajet.
This verse of the Bhagavad Gita states that lust, anger, and greed are the three gateways to hell, destroying the soul. These three demonic tendencies lead to human downfall and a life of hell, so it is best to renounce them.
3. Matrasparshastu kaunteya shitoshnasukhaduhkhadaah.
अगमापायिनोऽनित्यास्तांस्तितिक्ष्व भारत..2.14.
Through this verse, Lord Krishna tells Arjun that happiness and sorrow keep coming and going in life. In such a situation, a person should consider them as coming and going like the seasons and should remain unperturbed and tolerate them patiently.
4. Shraddhavanllabhate gyanam tatparh sanyatendriyah.
Gyanam Labdhwa Para Shantimchirenadhigachchhati.
The meaning of this verse is that people who have faith and control their senses, acquire knowledge with their readiness and after acquiring knowledge, soon attain supreme peace.
5. Sadrisham cheshtate swasyaah prakritergyanvanapi.
Prakriti yanti bhutaani nigraha ki karishyati..3.33.
