Bangladesh lodged protest with India

On the other hand, Bangladesh lodged its protest with the Acting High Commissioner of India on Thursday, saying that the "false and fabricated comments" made by ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina are "hostile acts" towards Dhaka. This statement came after Hasina's social media speech a day earlier, in which she called for organized resistance against the current regime of Bangladesh.

Sheikh Hasina, who has been living in India since August last year, addressed her supporters through social media on Wednesday night. She said, "They can demolish the building, but not the history, and history takes its revenge." After this, a large group of protesters reached the residence of Bangladesh's founder Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Dhaka and vandalized it, as well as set it on fire. This vandalism took place when Hasina was addressing her supporters online.
