New Delhi. The Indian government is negotiating hard with France for the purchase of 26 Rafale marine fighter aircraft for the Navy. These days the second round of talks is going on between the company and French government officials for the deal worth more than Rs 50 thousand crore.

India wants to achieve this at a low cost

These talks are expected to last for 10-12 days. In this, the final decision will be taken on the price of the aircraft to a large extent. France is asking for more than 50 thousand crores for this deal while India wants to do it for less than 50 thousand crores. In this deal, the aircrafts are to be purchased with weapons. Many types of missiles will be installed in each aircraft. These will also include India's air-to-air missile Astra.

Before this negotiation, the landing and take-off capability of Rafale Marine aircraft on the Navy's aircraft carrier has been tested. To improve these processes, some additional equipment will be installed in the aircraft. The increased cost of construction material will also affect the latest deal.

Apart from this, this twin-engine fighter aircraft has more capacity than the aircraft purchased earlier for the Air Force but the base price for the new aircraft has been kept the same as that of the aircraft purchased earlier. The new aircraft will be deployed on both aircraft carriers of India.
