Those making reels on railway tracks and moving trains should be cautious. If they create a threat to safety by making reels at these places, an FIR will be lodged. The Railway Board has given instructions to all its zones in this regard. It has been said that if those making reels create a threat to safe rail operations or cause inconvenience to passengers in coaches or railway premises, an FIR should be lodged against them.
People have crossed all limits in making reels
This directive of the Railway Board has come after some recent cases have come to light in which especially the youth compromised with the rail safety by making videos of stunts on railway tracks and moving trains with their mobile phones.
A senior official of the board said, "People have crossed all limits in making reels. They not only risk their own lives but also endanger the safety of hundreds of passengers by placing objects or driving vehicles on the railway tracks or performing dangerous stunts in moving trains."
He said, 'Many such videos have been circulated which show that people went near the train to take selfies, due to which they died. Many people died on the spot after being hit by the train.'
According to Railway Board officials, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) have been asked to adopt a zero tolerance policy towards those violating the rules and making reels.
