Bareilly.  2013 batch IPS officer Anurag Arya has been made the new SSP of Bareilly. He has previously served as SP Intelligence in Bareilly. 2012 batch IPS officer Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan has been given an important responsibility like SSP STF Lucknow.

The newly arrived SSP Anurag Arya, originally from Baghpat, was looking after the responsibility of Azamgarh. Before this, he has played captaincy innings in Amethi, Balrampur, Mau and Pratapgarh districts.

He played the longest innings in Azamgarh. He was rewarded for his good work and was given the command of the most sensitive district like Bareilly.

Crime control and public hearing priorities

Talking to Dainik Jagran, the newly appointed SSP said that crime control and public hearing are the priorities. Public complaints will be resolved in every situation. Work will also be done on police welfare so that policing can be improved.

On the question of the involvement of officers like CO in corruption and increasing cases of corruption in Bareilly, he said that this will not be accepted under any circumstances. Those who do better work will be encouraged. There will be no place in the field for those who cannot work. He will take charge on Wednesday.

New ADG Ramit Sharma arrived late at night

The newly arrived ADG Ramit Sharma reached Bareilly late at night. In a conversation with Dainik Jagran, he also listed his priorities. He said that public hearing is a priority. The public should not have to wander around under any circumstances. There will be special emphasis on quick resolution of their complaints. He said that complaints of corruption will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Let us tell you that the newly arrived ADG has earlier served as IG Range of Bareilly and Moradabad, due to which he is well acquainted with every district of the zone. As the first Police Commissioner of Prayagraj, he worked to demolish the fort of mafia Atiq and Ashraf.
