
Comedian Kunal Kamra, who is facing a court case over his stand-up comedy, has rejected the offer of Bigg Boss. Kunal Kamra says that he was approached to participate in the upcoming season of the reality show 'Bigg Boss', but he turned down the offer.
The comedian on Tuesday shared a screenshot of his WhatsApp conversation with a man on his Instagram story, who claimed he was 'looking into casting for this season of Bigg Boss'.
According to the screenshot shared by Kamra, the casting professional said, "I know this might not have been on your radar but honestly, this is a pretty crazy platform to showcase your true style and win over a larger audience. What do you think? Should we talk about it?"
In his response, Kamra said, "I would rather get checked into a mental hospital..."
However, it is not clear whether Kunal Kamra was given this offer for the 19th season of 'Bigg Boss' or for its OTT version.

In the backdrop of reports of BookMyShow removing Kamra from its catalogue, Kamra on Monday wrote an open letter to the online ticketing platform, requesting that he either be not removed from the catalogue or be handed over the contact details of the viewership he has acquired through his shows over the years.
Earlier this week, the comedian also approached the Bombay High Court, seeking quashing of the FIR registered against him by the city police for his alleged remarks against Shinde.
The Madras High Court extended his interim anticipatory bail in connection with the case till April 17.
Kamra also claimed that he was receiving death threats after the show and hence, he requested the police to question him via video conference.
