News of a major accident is coming from Uttarakhand. A big bus has met with an accident in the Almora-Salt region of the state. According to the information, the bus has fallen into a deep gorge in Kupi near Marchula. This bus was full of passengers and 46 people are said to be on board. According to the news, the administration has started relief and rescue work.

Relief and rescue work started

According to the information received so far, the bus which fell into a deep gorge near Kupi was coming from Pauri district towards Ramnagar with 45 people. Meanwhile, the bus met with an accident near Kupi and fell into a deep gorge. Rescue work has been started on the spot. According to the latest update, the police of Nainital district is also engaged in relief work.

36 bodies have been recovered so far

During the ongoing relief and rescue operations at the accident site, heartbreaking news is coming to light. The police and SDRF team carrying out the rescue operations have so far recovered 36 bodies from the ditch. According to ANI, the bus that fell into the ditch belongs to Garhwal Motor Users. More information is awaited in the case.

CM Dhami gave a statement

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has also issued a statement regarding this bus accident. He wrote- "Very sad news was received about the casualties of passengers in the unfortunate bus accident in Marchula of Almora district. The district administration has been instructed to carry out relief and rescue operations with speed. The local administration and SDRF teams at the spot are working rapidly to evacuate the injured and take them to the nearest health center for treatment. Instructions have also been given to airlift the seriously injured passengers if required."

Announcement of compensation and action too

In the Almora bus accident case, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions to suspend the ARTO enforcement of the concerned area of ​​​​Pauri and Almora. CM Dhami directed to provide assistance of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 1 lakh each to the injured. CM Dhami has directed the Commissioner Kumaon Division to conduct a magisterial inquiry into the incident.
