Guwahati. Himanta on Kejriwal Politics has intensified after the arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. BJP is continuously targeting Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party. Meanwhile, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has also attacked Kejriwal.

Then the arrest would have been avoided...

Taking a dig at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over his arrest in the liquor policy case, Himanta said ignoring multiple summons is like inviting one's own arrest. The Assam CM said that if Kejriwal had responded to the ED's initial summons, his arrest could have been avoided.

Had I gone to ED, I would not have been arrested: Himanta

Himanta Sarma said that when someone is summoned 8 to 9 times and the person does not respect the summons, it only means that the person is inviting his arrest. If he had gone to the ED when first called, he would not have been arrested.

AAP will protest

Meanwhile, in response to Kejriwal's arrest, Aam Aadmi Party has announced city-wide protests in Delhi. The party has planned a candlelight march and effigy burning on Sunday to express its protest against the BJP.

Called Kejriwal's arrest fake

In a statement issued on Saturday, AAP said, "Candle march and effigy burning will be held across Delhi tomorrow in protest against BJP's dictatorship and fake arrest of Arvind Kejriwal." Now the people of Delhi have come out on the streets.

Aam Aadmi Party said that everyone will have to stand together as the shield of Arvind Kejriwal. Arvind Kejriwal's arrest will prove to be the last nail in throwing the Modi government out of power.
