Kashmir Weather Update : Kashmir is currently covered in a white sheet of snow. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature of Srinagar on Wednesday was recorded at minus 4.4 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature in Anantnag today was recorded at minus 8.1 degrees Celsius. The result of the temperature going several degrees below zero is that instead of leaves, there is snow on the trees in the Srigufara area of Anantnag.
In this small village on the way from Srinagar to Pahalgam, where there used to be fruits, leaves and branches on the trees, there is now snow. The snowfall is so severe that as far as the eyes can see, only snow is visible.
Pahalgam wrapped in sheets of snow

To enjoy this view, tourists from different parts of the country are coming to Kashmir and among them, a large number of tourists have reached Pahalgam to start the new year. A couple from Mumbai told ABP News that they have come to Kashmir to celebrate their wedding anniversary and new year and the memories that they will take from here will be cherished for a lifetime and our new year resolution is that next time we will definitely visit Kashmir in summers and as it is said that Kashmir is heaven on earth. It is absolutely right.
Tourists are arriving from Punjab to West Bengal
Not just Pahalgam, but every small village in Kashmir is also crowded with tourists. One such village is 'Aru Gaon', the last village of Kashmir and Pahalgam, which is full of tourists at this time. The reason for this is the beautiful valleys here. Wherever you look, you will see only snow-clad mountains and snow-laden pine trees. Tourists from Punjab to West Bengal visit this village, which has also received the title of the best tourist village a few months ago.
This small village situated on the top of the mountain is currently full of tourists. One reason for this is that the road connectivity of this village has been strengthened by the administration in the recent months. Due to which tourists can reach here by car. Otherwise, a year ago this village used to remain cut off from the rest of Kashmir for 4 months of the year from December to March. But now the picture of this village is different and tourists are reaching here in large numbers and preparations for the Winter Festival are also being made in this village to promote tourism.
