20% reservation for Agniveers - Saini
Chief Minister Saini said that the Haryana government has made a provision of 20 percent reservation for Agniveers in the recruitment of state police. Along with this, Agniveers will also be given 10 percent reservation in the Forest Guard recruitment of Forest Department, Jail Warden recruitment of Jail Department and Mining Guard jobs of Mining Department.

CM Saini said that "Agniveers have served the nation and this decision has been taken to honor their contribution. The government wants to give them a better future and an opportunity for rehabilitation."

This decision will not only benefit the Agniveers, but the security and administrative system of the state will also be strengthened by trained and disciplined young personnel. This step of the government will encourage the youth towards a permanent career after serving in the army.

Soon after the announcement of the scheme, former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the state government had already said that it will promote reservation and bring reservation for Agniveers. This decision of the Haryana government is being appreciated on social media and it is being considered a positive step taken in the interest of the youth.
