According to the Panchang, the Pratipada date (Govardhan Puja Time) of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month will start from 06:16 pm on 01 November. At the same time, it will end on 02 November at 08:21 pm. In such a situation, the festival of Govardhan Puja will be celebrated on 02 November (Kab Hai Govardhan Puja 2024). The auspicious time to worship on this day is as follows-

According to legend, on the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month, Lord Krishna lifted Govardhan mountain (Govardhan Puja Significance) on his little finger to protect himself from the wrath of Indra Devta. This saved the people of Braj from the effects of Indra Devta. From this day onwards, people started worshipping Govardhan mountain and Lord Krishna.
