The doodle shows Hamida Banu as a powerful woman and a background decorated with flowers has been created around her. 

According to Google, on this day Hamida Banu got worldwide fame. On this day in 1954, Hamida Banu defeated the then-famous wrestler Baba Pehalwan. The amazing thing is that he defeated Baba Pahlchan in just 1 minute 35 seconds. After this defeat, Baba Pahlava retired from wrestling. 

Let us tell you that Hamira Banu was born in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh in the early 1900s. Banu had always been wrestling and had won more than 300 matches. It is said that the golden decade of Hamida's career was between 1940 and 1950. At that time women were prevented from going into professions like wrestling. However, Banu was determined that she would become a wrestler and that is why she competed only with men and won. 

An interesting fact about Hamida Banu is that she challenged all the male wrestlers that she would marry whoever defeated her for the first time. Not only this, Hamida is also famous at the international level. He had completely defeated Russian female wrestler Vera Kistillin within 2 minutes.
