
Ghaziabad News: Ghaziabad police has arrested a person who was taking advantage of government facilities by posing as a fake commissioner of Oman. When the police interrogated the accused, they were stunned. The accused had sent a letter to Ghaziabad police to avail the facility. When the police started investigating on suspicion, the fraud was revealed.
According to the police, the arrested accused has been an expert advisor in the Ministry of Environment. He is the Vice Chancellor in two colleges, Associate Vice Chancellor in four colleges and holds a PhD degree. The accused has been identified as Dr. Krishna Shekhar Rana, a resident of Agra.
The secret of the accused was revealed through the letter.
In this regard, DCP Transcendan Nimish Patil said that Ghaziabad Police had received a letter for the protocol of the High Commissioner of Oman. According to the DCP, the protocol was given but the police found some doubts in that letter. After this, when the police investigated, it was found that no one with this name is the High Commissioner of Oman.
As soon as the truth was known, the police arrested Agra resident Dr. Krishna Shekhar Rana. The police also recovered the accused's Mercedes car, which had a foreign diplomat number plate. Along with this, many things including the red light on the accused's car, the visiting card on which he used to call himself a High Commissioner, have been recovered.
The accused has been a vice chancellor.
According to the police, the accused Krishna Shekhar Rana has taken protocol in this manner at many places before. DCP Transcenden Nimish Patil said that the accused is well educated and has been an expert advisor in the Ministry of Environment. Apart from this, he has been a vice chancellor in two universities, associate vice chancellor in four universities and a professor in many colleges.
