Year Ender 2024: The year 2024 was quite turbulent for Bharatpur. The Jat movement that started for reservation on 17 January lasted for about 40 days. When the government refused, the Jat community decided not to vote for the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. The Jat community ran Gangajal campaigns at various places against the BJP. The BJP had to bear the brunt of the Jat's displeasure during the Lok Sabha elections in Bharatpur.

On 6 March 2024, the family dispute of the former royal family took a new turn. Former minister Vishvendra Singh presented an application in the tribunal of the subdivision officer and demanded maintenance from his wife and son. In the application, the former cabinet minister made serious allegations against his wife and son. Congress candidate from Bharatpur Sanjana Jatav won the Lok Sabha elections and became the youngest MP.

The result of the Lok Sabha elections was announced on 4 June. Sanjana Jatav defeated Ram Swaroop Koli in the Chief Minister's home district. Sanjana Jatav's dance video went viral in celebration of the victory in the Lok Sabha elections . Bharatpur division commissioner Sanwarmal Verma retired on 30 September. The retirement order was signed by his son. Sanwarmal Verma's son Kanishka Kataria is posted as joint secretary in the personnel department.

A woman had filed a case against Jitendra Singh Gulia for raping her minor son.

On 31 October 2021, the woman had lodged an FIR in Mathura Gate police station. After three years, Jitendra Singh Gulia was acquitted by the court. On 23 December, a minor was kidnapped in broad daylight in the Pahadi police station area of ​​​​Deeg district. Three police teams raided various places and recovered the minor after two days and arrested three accused. Investigation revealed that the minor was kidnapped by her in-laws.
