According to the police, the arrested people included 25 men and one woman. Investigation revealed that some people were staying in the country even after their tourist and student visas had expired.

During this operation, the police seized 53 mobile phones, several documents written in Chinese language and cash worth about 80 thousand Thai Baht (about 2500 US dollars). The police believe that this money and goods are related to this illegal business.

Police officials said that these people were running credit business without permission and were working illegally in Thailand. All the accused have been charged with unauthorized credit business and working illegally. At present, they have been taken into custody and are being questioned.
