Pilibhit.  Along with Sharda, the water level in Devha river is now decreasing. Flood water is receding from the city's localities and roads. But now the flood water has reached Bisalpur. There, flood water entered many localities, colonies as well as the power house. In such a situation, electricity supply in the city as well as villages has stopped. The Deputy District Magistrate has visited the city and inspected the waterlogging situation.

The flood water of Devha river is slowly receding from the city's localities. This water moved towards Bisalpur via the Barkheda area on Tuesday night. Late in the night, the flood water reached Patelnagar Colony in Bisalpur. People have suffered a lot as flood water entered many houses there.

Apart from this, there is waterlogging at several feet in Mohalla Habibullah Khan, Mohalla Dubey, Gyaspur, Pilibhit-Shahjahanpur Road, and also at Barha Pathar crossing. Also, several feet of water is flowing on Bisalpur-Bareilly Road. Due to this, the movement of vehicles has come to a halt. Electricity supply also came to a halt due to flood water. Water also entered the city's powerhouse. Due to this, the power supply system has come to a standstill. The flood water of Devha is slowly moving towards Shahjahanpur district. Deputy District Magistrate Mahipal Singh took stock of the waterlogging situation in several localities in the morning.

People are facing problems due to flood water in the streets of Bisalpur. According to the flood control room located at the district headquarters, the water level of both the Sharda and Devaha rivers is decreasing. At 9 am on Wednesday, 56 thousand 500 cusecs of excess water was flowing in the Sharda river while 36 thousand 801 cusecs of excess water were flowing in the Devaha River. The water level of both the rivers has reached below the danger mark.
