New Delhi, PTI The BJP on Sunday targeted Rahul Gandhi after the assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump and accused the opposition leader of encouraging violence against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After Rahul Gandhi condemned the attack on Trump, BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya said in a post on Instagram that his words lacked seriousness.

How can we forget the lapse in PM's security in Punjab?

Malviya said that Rahul Gandhi, who has failed for the third time, has often encouraged and justified violence against Prime Minister Modi. How can India forget that during the Congress government, the Punjab Police deliberately compromised the security of the Prime Minister when his convoy was stuck on a flyover.

Malviya released the video

Sharing a video prepared by combining some of Rahul Gandhi's earlier statements, Malviya said that Rahul Gandhi has made a statement like calling Modi a 'dictator'. Trump's critic Democrat leader and US President Joe Biden also does the same. After the assassination attempt, many supporters of Trump have alleged that an atmosphere of hatred has been created against him due to his rivals defaming him (Trump).

Indian democracy survived the attack of the left parties

Malviya said Trump's critics have argued that democracy is in danger (because of Trump). He compared it to the 'Constitution is in danger' narrative created by the opposition in India against Modi. The BJP leader said Indian democracy survived the onslaught of the global left and Modi returned for a third term.

In America, race is being used as a weapon, whereas in India, caste is being used as a weapon

Amit Malviya said that like race in America, caste in Indian society has been weaponised to create divisions. It is also not a coincidence that opponents are portrayed as villains and called dictators. In fact, a group of dangerous thinkers have used this word for the first time to describe the democratically elected powerful leaders of the world, whom they failed to control (politically). Malviya alleged that Rahul Gandhi sought foreign interference in India's elections, but he failed in this too.
