UP News: The fire of Bahraich violence in Uttar Pradesh had not yet cooled down when a tense atmosphere was seen in Muzaffarnagar on Saturday night. There was a ruckus here due to a social media post, late night people of one community came out on the road due to a religious comment made on social media against a community. The police reached the spot and explained to the angry people and when the protest increased, the police arrested the person who made the objectionable comment on social media.

In this case, the police has filed a case against 700 people. A case has been filed against those who blocked the road and created a ruckus. An uncontrollable crowd of thousands had gathered on the streets in protest against the objectionable post.

Regarding this entire matter, Muzaffarnagar police posted on Twitter that in connection with the incident of a youth sharing an objectionable post on social media against another community in Budhana police station area, the protest has been ended by the senior officials, appealing to the people to maintain peace. At present, the traffic is running smoothly and the accused who posted an objectionable post against a community has been arrested by the Budhana police station taking immediate action.

On this whole matter, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Aditya Bansal said that late night an information was received at the Budhana police station that a person living in the town of Budhana has made some objectionable comments on a Facebook post. The comment has hurt the religious sentiments of a community, as soon as this information was received, the Budhana police arrested that person. The interrogation was still going on when a rumor spread that the police has released that person. Many people had gathered on this rumor but then they were explained that a case has been registered. After this the crowd left from here, law and order will not be allowed to be hurt in any way.
