Pakistani residents found in Bengaluru
In a major crackdown, Bengaluru police on Tuesday arrested 10 more Pakistani nationals for illegally staying in India using fake documents. With these arrests, the total number of Pakistani nationals detained in Jigani area on the outskirts of Bengaluru in recent weeks has gone up to 17.
The arrests follow the detention of Parvez, who was accused of aiding and harbouring 22 Pakistani nationals in Bengaluru and other parts of Karnataka. Parvez allegedly helped these individuals adopt Hindu names, allowing them to blend in and avoid identification while in the region.

The arrested persons, including six women, were detained on charges of staying in India on fake documents and overstaying their visas. Some of the detainees had adopted Hindu names while others retained their original Pakistani identities.
