The festival of Dussehra is considered very auspicious in Hinduism. It is also known as Vijayadashami which is celebrated every year with enthusiasm and full devotion across the country. This festival symbolizes the victory of good over evil. According to mythology and beliefs, on this day Maa Durga and Lord Rama conquered Mahishasura and Ravana. Dussehra also marks the end of Navratri and Durga Puja festival .
