News Topical, Digital Desk : The rain has started once again in Uttar Pradesh. On Friday, there was heavy rain in many parts of the state. An alert for heavy rain has been issued at different places in the state for the next three days, which has given relief to the people from the heat. The temperature will also drop in the next 24 hours.
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain warning has been issued in 24 districts including Agra to Ghazipur and Varanasi in both the divisions of Uttar Pradesh today (23 August), while rain with thunder and lightning is expected in 59 districts today. Lightning warning has also been issued in these districts.
An alert has been issued for thunderstorms and heavy rains in some parts of the division. Due to heavy rains, waterlogging may occur in many places, due to which people may have to face problems like traffic jams. In such a situation, people have been advised to be cautious.
Due to the new weather system in the Bay of Bengal, rainfall has increased once again, due to which most of the areas of Uttar Pradesh will see heavy rain from 22 to 26 August. Due to the rain, people will get relief from the humid heat. In the next 24 hours, the maximum temperature of the state will decrease by 3-5 degrees Celsius.
Yellow alert for heavy rain in these districts
Heavy rain and thunderstorm warning has been issued at almost all places in Mathura, Aligarh, Hathras, Firozabad, Agra, Etah, Mainpuri, Etawah, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Varanasi and Ghazipur today.
Rain with thunder and lightning is expected at almost all places in Kasganj, Kannauj, Farrukhabad, Hardoi, Kanpur, Jalaun, Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki, Ayodhya, Amethi, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Jaunpur, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Rae Bareli.
It will rain at many places in Noida, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Meerut, Baghpat, Shamli, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Sambhal, Rampur, Bareilly, Badaun, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Bahraich, Shravasti, Gonda, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar and Basti today.
