Dumka News: 65 children fell ill after eating mid-day meal served in a government school in Dumka, Jharkhand. Seeing the condition of these children, they were admitted to the local health center. According to the information, a lizard had fallen in the dal, after eating which the children started vomiting. After this incident, there was a stir in the administration.

Actually, the condition of the children deteriorated after eating mid-day meal in Dumka school. After this, the school administration admitted 45 children to CHC. The condition of the children here is said to be better than before.

65 children fell ill.
An official confirmed the matter and said that the children studying in Mohanpur School of Masalia block of the district ate mid-day meal. After that, one by one the children started vomiting. About 65 children were affected by this. Seeing the condition of 45 children, they were immediately admitted to Masalia CHC, where all are normal. 

Former minister enquired about the condition
of the children. According to CS Bachcha Prasad Singh, the children said that a lizard had fallen in the dal. On receiving information about the children falling ill, former BJP minister Dr Lois Marandi reached the health centre where she enquired about the condition of the children.

Block Development Officer (BDO) Azfar Hussain said that after eating the food, the students started vomiting, after which they were admitted to Masalia Community Health Center where their condition is said to be stable. Tongra police station in-charge Gurucharan Manjhi said that the matter is being investigated. Efforts are being made to find out who is responsible for such negligence.
