Deepawali or Diwali means the festival of lights and lamps. It is one of the most prominent festivals of Hindus, which is celebrated with great pomp. - Perform puja during Pradosh period.
- Install the idol on the altar itself.

- The place of the altar should be in the north-east corner and the place of the idols should be in the eastern corner of the house.
- Light as many lamps as possible in the house and illuminate the entire house.

- Keep shoes and slippers away during the puja.
- Avoid consuming alcohol on Diwali day .
