Uttarakhand Zero Tolerance Policy: As part of the campaign against corruption in Uttarakhand, the government of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken important steps. In the 23-year history of the state, 303 accused were arrested in a total of 281 traps. At the same time, in just three years of the Dhami government, the Vigilance Department has succeeded in sending 68 corrupt people to jail by trapping 57 people. Under the zero tolerance policy of the Dhami government, this campaign is progressing rapidly, in which the corrupt are being constantly tightened.

In Uttarakhand, 1064 Corruption Free App is playing an important role in preventing corruption. Through this app, common citizens can freely complain about the corrupt, which has accelerated the action of Vigilance. So far 973 complaints have been registered on the app, out of which 38 complaints are under investigation by Vigilance. Non-Vigilance complaints have been sent to the concerned departments. The app was widely publicized so that people can use it as much as possible. From government offices to social media, the fight against corruption is being strengthened through this app.

Strict action by vigilance:
Due to the increase in the activity of vigilance, record arrests have been made in three years. In the year 2022, 15 arrests were made in 14 traps, in the year 2023, 20 people were arrested in 18 traps and in the year 2024, 30 accused were sent behind bars through 23 traps. More than 13 government employees and senior officials are also involved in these campaigns, who have been accused of corruption.

Government's strict policy
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has clearly stated that the corrupt will not be spared under any circumstances. Whether the accused is small or big, everyone will have to serve jail sentence. The government has provided more resources to the Vigilance than before so that strict action can be taken against the corrupt. The Chief Minister himself is monitoring and reviewing the functioning of the Vigilance, due to which more effective results are being seen in this campaign.

The Dhami government of Uttarakhand is working rapidly towards making the state corruption-free with its strict policy against corruption and the cooperation of Vigilance. The 1064 app and the strict monitoring of Vigilance have given a new direction to the action against the corrupt in the state.
