Bihar Dengue News: Dengue patients are being found continuously in the capital Patna. So far this year, two patients have died in NMCH while 18 are still admitted. A teenager died in August while a woman died of dengue this month. However, better arrangements have been made for dengue patients in Patna's NMCH. ABP Bihar's team has visited NMCH and inspected it. 20-20 beds reserved for men and women and 10 for children

 

A separate ward of 50 beds has been made for dengue patients in NMCH. NMCH Superintendent Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh said that all facilities are available in NMCH to prevent dengue. 20 beds have been reserved for women, 20 beds for men and 10 beds for children. However, he said that all the beds in the hospital are not full yet. Currently, seven women, eight men and three children suffering from dengue are admitted. They are undergoing treatment. 

 

Facility of medicine along with mosquito net and cleanliness

 

It was told that so far this season, a total of 57 patients have been admitted to NMCH. Two of these patients have died. A 17-year-old boy died on 29 August. An old woman died on 8 September. The hospital superintendent said that there are ample arrangements for dengue patients in NMCH. All beds have mosquito nets, cleanliness and complete arrangements for medicines. If there is any shortage of medicines, it is ordered immediately.

 

Further, NMCH Superintendent Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh said that medicines are also brought from private, but patients are not made to spend even a rupee. Let us tell you that dengue is being treated in PMCH. Eight beds have been set up here. At IGIMS too, separate beds have been set up for dengue patients. According to the report, five patients have died of dengue in PMCH since July. In such a situation, there is a need to be cautious about dengue.
