Temperature will fall further due to cold wave

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Delhi is expected to drop below 4 degrees today (Tuesday) due to cold wave. The maximum temperature will also reach 22 degrees. The sun will shine during the day. The effect of cold will remain due to the cold wave.

Cold wave will continue in these states for the next two days

The Meteorological Department said that cold wave is likely to continue in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir for the next two days, while similar conditions will prevail in Rajasthan from December 17 to 20. Dense fog is also prevailing in many districts of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. 

These districts of UP are in the grip of dense fog

There is severe cold in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. The minimum temperature is reaching close to 5 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, fog is prevailing in Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar and Gonda districts on Tuesday morning. Along with this, fog is likely to remain in many districts including Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj and Saharanpur for the next two-three days.

Fog will prevail in many districts of Haryana and Punjab

According to the Meteorological Department, many districts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab will experience severe cold along with dense fog for the next 2-3 days. Visibility may decrease due to fog. Frost is predicted in some areas of Madhya Pradesh. Due to this, the cold may increase further in Madhya Pradesh as well.

Hisar is the coldest district in Haryana

In view of the increasing cold wave in Haryana, a yellow alert has been issued for cold wave in many districts. The Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave alert in many districts including Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, and Rohtak. The Meteorological Department said that the minimum temperature of Hisar was recorded at 1.7 degrees. The day's mercury has also dropped.
