The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in the next few days in Delhi-NCR as well as Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab. The already cold weather in all these states will increase further. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for both rain and cold wave for many states.

However, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in large parts of Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana on 26 and 27 December. The chill will increase due to the rain. Cold wave will also prevail during this period.

The Meteorological Department said that this rain will cause a sharp drop in temperature in areas like Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana and cold wave will prevail in Madhya Pradesh.

Changing weather pattern With the arrival of a new western disturbance in the western Himalayan region and adjoining plains, rain and weather conditions are expected to change. Delhi-NCR will experience light rain on Monday and dense fog on Tuesday. A yellow alert has been issued for severe cold.

The Meteorological Department said that coastal Andhra Pradesh, northern Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Rayalaseema have received heavy rains recently. Rains have also been recorded in parts of Odisha, coastal West Bengal, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam and Meghalaya. 

Alert of rain and snowfall in many parts of Himachal

At the same time, there is a possibility of rain at some places in Himachal Pradesh on 23, 24 and 27 December. Orange alert has been issued for Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur and Mandi districts during the next 24 hours. Along with snowfall in many areas of Himachal, the cold will increase even more.

Temperature in Kashmir reached minus 14 to 18 degrees Celsius

The temperature in different parts of Kashmir has gone below minus degrees. Lakes, waterfalls, streams and water pipelines in Kashmir have frozen. The temperature here is 14 to 18 degrees below zero. A large number of tourists are arriving in Kashmir.
