New Delhi. Weather Update: Heatwave and rising temperatures in entire North India including Delhi-NCR have made life difficult for people. The scorching sun during the day and hot winds at night have made life miserable for people. A 'yellow' alert has been issued for the next two days regarding heat wave in Delhi.

The Meteorological Department has warned that the national capital Delhi is in the grip of severe heat and it is expected to continue till Wednesday. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, Delhiites may get some relief on Thursday and Friday.

Apart from Delhi, heat wave to severe heat wave conditions will prevail in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana. Heat wave conditions are possible in different areas of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu division, northern Madhya Pradesh and northern Chhattisgarh. Nights are likely to remain hot in some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.

How will the weather be in Delhi? 

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for Delhi in which a yellow alert has been warned for Tuesday and Wednesday. The Meteorological Department has predicted that heat wave conditions will continue in most areas of Delhi on Tuesday. The maximum temperature can remain up to 45 and minimum 33 degrees Celsius. During this time, the wind speed can also remain between 35 to 45 km per hour.
