Arvind Kejriwal In Tihar:  Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is lodged in Tihar Jail of Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is alleging that a conspiracy is being hatched to kill Kejriwal in jail, he is not being given insulin. Tihar Jail DG Sanjay Beniwal has responded to these serious allegations of yours.

Sanjay Beniwal said on Monday that politics is happening. All prisoners are one for us. Taking care of their health. Jail is one for everyone. All my prisoners are fine. I have 20 thousand prisoners and many are prisoners with diseases. We also have a hospital. We have 900-1000 prisoners with diabetes.

'Everything is done according to the jail manual'

He further said that about 100 prisoners complain to me every day and I also resolve them. Everyone has the right to say anything. I am not concerned with what people are saying outside. Everything is done according to the jail manual. This is politics, I will not speak on it.

'It's not easy to stay in jail'

The DG said that in summer there is cold water for the prisoner, a net for mosquitoes, and a pot for water. Home food is being given on the orders of the court. Jail is the same for everyone, it is a very difficult place. It is not easy to live.

Arvind Kejriwal had written a letter to the jail superintendent

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had on Monday written a letter to the Superintendent of Tihar Jail claiming that he was demanding insulin daily and the doctors at AIIMS never said that there was nothing to worry about his health. Kejriwal alleged that the Tihar Jail administration is lying under political pressure.

CM did not get relief even from the court

This issue also went to the court from where Arvind Kejriwal got a shock on Monday. A Delhi court rejected Kejriwal's application to consult his doctor with the help of a video conference. The court directed the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to constitute a medical board to conduct the medical examination of Kejriwal.
