New Delhi: In the coming few years, almost all the vehicle manufacturers are going to bring many of their electric cars in the EV segment. Many companies have already started this. At the same time, in the beginning of the year 2024, Hyundai and Kia are going to bring their own electric vehicles, which will be Creta EV and Carens EV. Both these models have recently been spotted together in Varanasi during testing. Let us know with what features both of them can come.

Carens EV: What was shown in the testing model?

The Carens EV is going to be based on its ICE facelift, which will be launched in the year 2025. The model spotted during testing has new alloy wheels. Since it is going to be based on the ICE facelift model, some changes can be seen in its front fascia. The sheet metal of the Carens EV and ICE Carens facelift can be the same. It is going to see a more up-to-date suspension setup than before.

Carens EV can be offered in both 6-seater and 7-seater options. At the same time, it can be equipped with a 10.25-inch screen, a 360-degree camera and a panoramic sunroof. Also, advanced features like ADAS can be seen in Carens EV.

Creta EV: What was seen in the testing model?

The Creta EV spotted during testing has the same silhouette as the ICE version. The testing model has a new alloy wheel design. Its aerodynamics have been improved. Its drag unit appears to be less, which can increase its performance. Changes can be seen in its front. A closed grille and special badging can be seen to highlight its underpinnings.

Creta EV has been spotted during testing earlier as well. At that time, a new circular steering wheel with a 3-spoke design was seen in it. Special 'CRETA Electric' badging was also seen on the upholstery of the testing model. New interior theme options can be seen in Creta EV.

Creta EV: What will be the features

The Creta EV can get dual 10.25-inch screens, front ventilated seats and a panoramic sunroof. There can also be a leather-wrapped steering wheel, electric parking brake with auto hold, USB port and wireless charger. It can get a 45-kWh battery pack, which will be connected to a 138 hp electric motor. It can give a range of up to 450 km after being fully charged.
