MP Politics: Congress is once again going to open a front against the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh. State Congress President Jeetu Patwari said today in the capital Bhopal that this time a big movement will be organized on the issue of farmers.

He said that on September 20, Congress workers will stage protests across the state. During the press conference, Jeetu Patwari lashed out at the BJP government of the Centre and the state. He said that former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan talked about doubling the income of farmers from every platform. Since 2016, PM Modi has also been misleading farmers by promising double income.

According to Jeetu Patwari, at present every farmer has a debt of 80 thousand. He said, "BJP government has been in power in the country for 10 years. The government of the country and the state has tried to deceive the farmers. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh claimed in the House that the income of the farmers of Madhya Pradesh has doubled." Jeetu Patwari said that according to the parliamentary committee in 2022, the income of farmers has decreased. In 2015-16, the income of a farmer was about 9 thousand. Now it has come down to about 8 thousand.

Congress will protest to demand support price

The state Congress president said, "During the agitation, the demand will be made to make the support price of wheat Rs 2700, paddy Rs 3100 and soybean Rs 6000. Workers will come out on the streets at 12 noon in all the districts simultaneously to demand the support price." Jitu Patwari said that Shivraj Singh Chauhan is competing with PM Modi in lying. He had promised to give the support price of wheat Rs 2700. Now he has forgotten his promise. He said, "I condemn the lie of Shivraj Singh Chauhan. He has betrayed the farmers of Madhya Pradesh."

Jeetu Patwari gave advice to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav

Jeetu Patwari said that Mohan Yadav is a preacher Chief Minister. In 10 months, he has made the state number one in crimes against women, tribals and crimes against girls. He said, "Instead of changing names, it would be better if you focus on law and order." The Congress State President demanded the Chief Minister to break his silence on the Ujjain rape case. He said that the victim is also a beloved sister of Madhya Pradesh. Jeetu Patwari said, "The names of people from VD Sharma's party are coming up in crimes. Will you take action against them?"
