New Delhi: With the return of monsoon, the weather has started fluctuating. There is a drop in temperature in the states of North India. Still, it is more than normal. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has ruled out any major change in the weather in the northern part of the country for a week, but a western disturbance is developing in Pakistan, the effect of which will be seen on the mountains of North India till October 24.
Cold wave begins before Diwali
According to Skymet, a private weather monitoring agency, due to western disturbance, cold will start in North India before Diwali. However, it will not be very cold, but it will definitely alert people about the future.
There will be good snowfall in the mountains
In India, the cold starts through the north-western winds. Due to the western disturbance, there is snowfall in the hills of North India. Last year, the western disturbance did not come till December, due to which the cold started quite late. Usually the time of western disturbance is from October to March. This time it will knock for the first time on October 24 and will continue for the next three days. This will cause good snowfall in the mountains. After that it will move towards the east. Then the winds that will start blowing from the north-west will bring cold.
The weather will be pleasant in the morning and evening
There will be no change in the weather in the Gangetic plains including Punjab, Haryana and Delhi for a week. The sun will shine during the day and the nights will be a little cold. The weather will be pleasant in the morning and evening. At present, there is no forecast of rain in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand, but the low pressure forming in the central Bay of Bengal is sure to affect Jharkhand and Odisha. It can also take the form of a storm in the next four days, due to which there is a possibility of sporadic rain in Jharkhand along with many states of South India.
