Ottawa. A Canadian court has given a big blow to two Khalistanis who were dreaming of getting themselves removed from the no-fly list and has rejected their petition. Regarding Khalistani Bhagat Singh Barar and Parvkar Singh Dulai, the court said that they could be a threat to air travel.

Canadian court said important thing

A Canadian court has rejected the bid of two Sikh extremists to be removed from the country's no-fly list, saying there were strong grounds to suspect they would pose a threat to transport security or air travel in a bid to commit a terrorist act.

The Canadian news agency reported from Vancouver on Thursday, citing an order issued by the Federal Court of Appeal last week, that the Court of Appeal has dismissed the appeal of Bhagat Singh Barar and Parvkar Singh Dulai. Both of them were included in the 'no fly' list under Canada's Safe Air Travel Act.

The court said this in its decision

The decision said the act gives the Minister of Public Security the power to ban people from flying if there are reasonable grounds to suspect that they will threaten transport security or travel by air to commit a terrorist act.
