Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that immediate action should be taken in crime related cases. Cases should be filed immediately on the complaint of the victims and action should be taken against the accused. Negligence in this will not be tolerated.
He directed to speed up the work of all flyovers and road widening including TP Nagar-Daudpur Sixlane, Gorakhnath flyover under construction in the district. He said, all projects should be completed on time with quality.
He directed Commissioner Anil Dhingra and DM Krishna Karunesh to keep monitoring it regularly. After planting saplings in Ashfaqulla Khan Zoological Park on Saturday, the Chief Minister held a meeting with officials of administration and police departments etc. at Gorakhnath Temple.
He asked about the progress of all the major projects going on in the district and gave necessary directions. He took information about the construction work of Deoria bypass four lane, four lane from Padleganj to Firaq Gorakhpuri square via Chhatra Sangh square, Maniram-Balapar overbridge, Nakha Jungle-Maniram overbridge, Godhoiya Nala etc. and directed to speed up the work.
The Chief Minister inquired about the flood, on which the officials told that Saryu is below the danger mark but is increasing whereas Rapti is about 31 cm above the danger mark but is decreasing. This time the flood has already arrived. Usually the risk of flood increases in August and September. In such a situation, be fully alert and keep the relief and rescue preparations complete. Immediate help should be provided to the needy. Relief material and health facilities should be provided to everyone.
On the discussion regarding Sainik School, the Chief Minister said that he will soon decide the date and time of its inauguration. For now, preparations should be kept complete. Apart from the Commissioner, DM, ADG Dr. KS Pratap Kumar, DIG Anand Kulkarni, SSP Dr. Gaurav Grover, GDA Vice President Anand Vardhan, Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Singh Sogarwal, GIDA CEO Anuj Malik and many other officials were present.
