Delhi Politics: Delhi Chief Minister Atishi reached Sundar Nagari area on Wednesday. CM Atishi met the family members of Manish who was killed for protesting against the molestation incident in the area. In fact, a few days ago, 28-year-old Manish was stabbed to death for protesting against the molestation of a girl in Sundar Nagari area. CM Atishi went to Sundar Nagari and met the family of the deceased and consoled them. Also, the Delhi government will give a financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the family of the deceased.
On this occasion, CM Atishi said that the BJP-ruled central government has only one job in Delhi - to maintain law and order in Delhi; but it has completely failed in this. Public firing, extortion, murder have become a daily affair in Delhi, but Home Minister Amit Shah is busy in election rallies.
Atishi said that instead of doing politics, the Home Minister should fulfill his responsibility of handling the security system of Delhi, due to his failure, Delhi has become the crime capital. There is no fear left in the goons in Delhi, they feel that they can commit crimes openly and the police will not do anything. Therefore, today the law and order situation in the country's capital has become like the Mumbai underworld of 1990, where gangsters ruled.
CM Atishi said that a young man lost his life in Sundar Nagri because the law and order situation in Delhi has deteriorated. It is very sad that such incidents are happening every day in the country's capital. Sometimes we hear of firing in Rajouri Garden and sometimes a policeman loses his life on duty in Nangloi. Sometimes bullets are fired outside a showroom and sometimes there is news of 14 rounds of firing in Welcome area.
CM Atishi said that today I want to tell the Home Minister of the country Amit Shah that when the law and order system, security system of the entire Delhi comes under you, then why is he not doing anything in this direction? Extortion, murder, firing has become a common thing in Delhi but the Home Minister of the country has nothing else to do except campaigning for elections. The Home Minister is sometimes campaigning in Haryana, sometimes in Jharkhand, sometimes in Maharashtra and in Delhi a 28-year-old youth is stabbed to death in public.
