Once when Brahma was creating the whole world, he also created a very beautiful woman, who was named Satrupa. She was so beautiful that even Brahma himself was fascinated by her and could not take his eyes off her. Satrupa started getting distracted by Brahma's staring at her like this and she started looking in the other direction. But Brahma developed one of his heads in that direction.

Shiv ji got angry

Shiv Ji was also watching this whole scene. According to Shiv Ji, Satrupa was like Brahma's daughter. Therefore, he felt that it was a grave sin for Brahma Ji to look at Satrupa in this way. Seeing this, Shiv Ji got angry and manifested one of his Ganas, Lord Bhairav.

On the orders of Lord Shiva, Bhairav ​​cut off the fifth head of Brahma. After this, Brahma realized his mistake and apologized to Mahadev. According to many beliefs, this is also considered a reason that the creator of the universe i.e. Brahma ji has only one temple in the whole of India, which is situated in Pushkar, Rajasthan.
