The child's father's name is Balraj and mother's name is Nagalakshmi, while the child's name is Dheeraj. Also, Balraj works as a delivery boy in Swiggy company. On Sunday, October 6, on his son's birthday, a customer cancelled the cake order, after which Balraj brought the cake to his home.

I got severe stomach pain when I woke up in the morning

At the same time, some media reports are claiming that Balraj had ordered a cake from a bakery through Swiggy on his son's birthday. After which, when the cake arrived, he celebrated his son's birthday with great joy, the family cut and ate the birthday cake together, after which they ate dinner and went to sleep.

After this, when they woke up in the morning, all three of them had severe stomach pain and started screaming in pain. The neighbours reached there after hearing the screams and then admitted them to the hospital. Doctors said that the child had died before reaching the hospital.

Did he die due to food poisoning?

Balraj and Nagalakshmi were unconscious. The officers are waiting to record their statements after they regain consciousness. The police have started investigating the case and the police officers say that the death could also be due to food poisoning.

Swiggy has also issued a statement on the incident. Swiggy said, food safety is our priority, the company said that we are saddened by the incident in Bengaluru. Our condolences are with the family. Our team went to the hospital to meet the victim's family.
