It is celebrated on the first day of the month of Magh. This year Magh Bihu (Bihu 2025) festival will be celebrated on January 15, 2025. Bihu 2025 auspicious time (Bihu 2025 Puja Muhurat)
According to the Hindu calendar, Bihu festival is starting from January 15. On this day, Brahma Muhurta will be from 5:27 am to 6:21 am. Also, Vijay Muhurta will be from 2:16 pm to 2:58 pm.
Apart from this, the twilight time will be from 5:44 pm to 6:11 pm. Apart from this, the Nishita Muhurta will be from 12:04 am to 12:58 am the next day.
Bihu 2025 Puja Vidhi (Bihu 2025 Puja Vidhi)
On this day, wake up early in the morning and take a bath. Then meditate on Agni Dev and worship him properly. Also, on this occasion, people burn a hut made of bamboo and leaves. Then in the morning, they sprinkle its ashes on their crops, which leads to a good crop. Apart from this, devotees should pray to Agni Dev and offer him rice and betel nut. After this, recite his praise.
After the puja is over, distribute prasad among the people of the house and other members. On this occasion, help the poor and give them some donation.
