Delhi Assembly Election 2025: Congress has once again suffered a major setback on Monday (January 27), a few days before the Delhi elections. Amrish Singh Gautam, a three-time MLA from Kondli Assembly, joined the Aam Aadmi Party along with his two sons and his entire team. Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh gave him party membership by making him wear a turban and cap at the party headquarters. 

During this, Sanjay Singh said, "Today is a matter of great happiness for Aam Aadmi Party. Amrish Singh Gautam, who was the Deputy Speaker of Delhi Assembly and MLA from Kondli Assembly for three consecutive times, is joining Aam Aadmi Party. He has a long political career. He has served in many positions. After spending a long time in the Congress Party, he has decided to join the AAP family after being influenced by the policies of Arvind Kejriwal. I welcome him wholeheartedly in AAP."
 
'AAP will be strengthened in Kondli'
During this, Aam Aadmi Party leader and MLA Kuldeep Kumar said that with the arrival of Amrish Singh Gautam, our Kondli Assembly will be strengthened. Just as Aam Aadmi Party is taking forward the ideology of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, we all will also together take forward his ideology. 

'We will become the voice of the common man'
Meanwhile, Amrish Singh Gautam said that we will take Arvind Kejriwal's schemes to all sections of Delhi including the poor, Dalits and backward. He also said that by joining the Aam Aadmi Party, we are connecting with the common man as a common man to take forward the ideology of Arvind Kejriwal, Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Shaheed Bhagat Singh. We will become the voice of the common man. We will work for the common people in Delhi along with Arvind Kejriwal.
