New Delhi. An accident happened on the set of Karthi's film 'Sardar 2'. During the wrap up after the shooting, a stuntman of the film got badly injured after falling from a height. He was immediately taken to the hospital after the accident, where he was declared dead. The film's team has issued a press note informing about the accident.

A press note has been issued by Prince Pictures. It states that a stuntman named Elumalai died in an accident on the sets of the film Sardar 2. On Tuesday, July 16, when the shooting was over, he got injured after falling from a height of 20 feet during the wrap up. He was admitted to a nearby multi-specialty hospital, where doctors treated him. He died at around 11.30 pm.
The film was being shot at LV Prasad Studios in Saligramam, Chennai. According to information, Virugambakkam police officials have been informed about the accident and the matter is being investigated. Elumalai suffered serious injuries around the chest after falling from a great height. His lungs were injured. The shooting of Sardaar 2 has been halted due to Elumalai's death.
Shooting started two days ago
Let us tell you that a pooja was held on the sets of the film on 12th July. Shooting started from 15th. Stuntman Elumalai died just two days after the shooting. Many people have mourned his death on social media.
