Sharmila had given a priceless gift to Mansoor

During this, Kapil asked her many questions about Mansoor Ali Khan and also discussed the exchange of gifts between the two before marriage. On this, Sharmila Tagore recalled the past and said- I still remember that before marriage, whenever we used to meet, we used to bring something or the other for each other. But I had given him a priceless gift, which cost one lakh rupees in those days. 

That gift was a Mercedes car, yes, at that time that car cost 1 lakh rupees and it was not possible to buy the car directly. First, permission had to be taken for it. I waited and when I got the permission, then I gifted that car to him.  

Sharmila and Mansoor's children are also stars 

Mansoor Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore got married in the year 1968. While Sharmila was a top actress of Hindi cinema, Mansoor was a unique star of Indian cricket. Their children Saif Ali Khan, Soha Ali Khan, daughter-in-law Kareena Kapoor and son-in-law Kunal Khemu are Bollywood superstars. Let us tell you that Mansoor sahab passed away in 2011.
