Vinesh Phogat News: Veteran wrestler Vinesh Phogat has left the railway job before joining the Congress. She wrote on the post, "Serving the Indian Railways has been a memorable and proud time of my life." Vinesh Phogat was posted as OSD/Sports in Northern Railway.

She said, "At this point in my life, I have decided to separate myself from the railway service and have submitted my resignation to the competent authorities of the Indian Railways. I will always be grateful to the Indian Railway family for this opportunity given to me by the Railways in the service of the nation."

Bajrang Punia also left his job

Along with him, wrestler Bajrang Punia has also resigned from his job in the Railways. Both the players will join the Congress today (Friday, 6 September). The party may give them tickets in the Haryana Assembly elections.

Bajrang Punia was on the post of OSD Sports in Northern Railway. He was appointed on 13 September 2014.

Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday (September 4). After this, speculation about both of them contesting elections intensified. Earlier, these players had met former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda and MP Deepender Singh Hooda.
