The Indian Foreign Ministry had also criticized this action of the Canadian government, the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs had said, this incident has exposed Canada's hypocrisy towards freedom of expression. Randhir Jaiswal said that Canada took this action just a few hours after broadcasting the press conference of Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar with Penny Wong. We were surprised to see this.
