About 40,000 applications have been submitted in just two weeks to obtain this visa. He said that Indians aged 18 to 30 years receiving this visa will be able to live, work and study in Australia for 12 months. This is an important step towards strengthening relations between the two countries. The visa process started on October 1 and will end at the end of the month.
Successful candidates will be selected from the applicants
After this, successful candidates will be selected from the applicants randomly. The selected candidates can start their stay in Australia early next year. Thistlethwaite said, so far 40 thousand applications have been received for one thousand visas.
The Australian Prime Minister used his friendship with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure that young people from both communities have better and more opportunities to experience each other's cultures.
