Uttarakhand News Today: Recruitment process is going on for 2,906 assistant teacher posts in Uttarakhand. The appointment of 52 female candidates selected for the post of assistant teacher is stuck in the problem of caste certificate. All these female candidates belong to Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Haryana, who are married in Uttarakhand.

In this regard, the Directorate of Education has sought guidelines from the government to clarify this. In which it has been asked whether these candidates should be given the benefit of reservation in Uttarakhand or not? However, despite more than a month having passed, no guidelines have been received so far.

Despite the selection of these candidates for the post of assistant teacher, their appointment
process is currently on hold. Recruitment is being done for the posts of assistant teachers in the government primary schools of the state, but the caste certificate of these 52 female teachers remains a matter of controversy.

According to the Directorate of Education, their appointment cannot be done until clear guidelines are received from the government. The Directorate has sought guidance from the government in this regard, so that it can be decided whether these women candidates should be given the benefit of reservation under Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe after marriage in Uttarakhand or not.

What did the Directorate of Education say?
According to Additional Director of Education, Elementary Education, RL Arya, there is no clarity yet on the issue of caste certificate of these 52 female candidates selected for the post of teacher. The department had written a letter to the government regarding this several days ago, but no response has come so far.

This matter is related to the reservation rules of Uttarakhand, in which it has to be determined whether women from other states will get the benefit of reservation under Scheduled Caste and Tribe after marriage or not. Only after getting this clear guideline, all the selected candidates will get the benefit of reservation.

Waiting for guidelines
The Directorate of Education says that the eligibility of these candidates can be decided only after getting the guidelines. If they are given the benefit of reservation, then they will be given appointment letters.

On the other hand, if their reservation claim is not recognized, then their appointment process will be done under other rules. Only after this situation is clarified, the path to getting the job will be clear for the selected candidates.

Confusion among selected candidates
This situation is disappointing for the 52 selected female candidates. They are ready for their appointment, but their appointment process is stuck due to rules related to caste certificate. In this case, it is also being seen whether these candidates will be placed in the general category if they do not get the benefit of reservation.

Response of the officer and the department:
Additional Director of Education, RL Arya said that the department is fully aware of the matter and is trying to resolve it as soon as possible.

He said, "Until clear instructions are received from the government, the department cannot take any concrete decision. Since this matter is related to legal and constitutional rules, careful steps need to be taken in this. Directorate of Elementary Education

Due to this entire incident, the appointment of 52 selected candidates is hanging in balance. Due to which not only these candidates are confused, but the problem of shortage of teachers in the primary schools of the state also persists. The shortage of teachers
in the schools of the state is already a matter of concern.

In this way, the delay in the appointment process can make the problem more serious. Now everyone's eyes are on the guidelines of the government, which will solve the problem and the selected candidates can be appointed to their posts.
